Her Heart Beats to the Crunch of Shrimp Chips

August 03, 2020

“During quarantine, my intake of shrimp chips has increased exponentially. In the midst of all this uncertainty and isolation, I turn to shrimp chips to relish the nostalgia of my early childhood and to remind myself that there's still so much flavor in our lives to savor. I crunch and I chomp—do I crunch shrimp chips to the beat of my heart or does my heart beat to the crunch of shrimp chips? I do not know, for I have become one with the shrimp chips.”
